Angela Manno Fine Art
My artistic vision began with the inspiration I drew from the Apollo astronauts' accounts
of seeing the Earth from space, that ecstatic view of a living, miraculous, and fragile
island of life adrift in the cosmos.
This heightened perception of the Earth has been the driving force behind my art as it
has evolved over the past 40 years, from remote images of our planet (“earth
scapes”), to intimate, contemplative landscapes, to my current series of contemporary
icons of threatened and endangered species.
What underlies all my work is a deep reverence for Nature and a desire to ignite
passion for the living world in others. Using diverse traditional disciplines and
contemporary media, including egg tempera and gold leaf, pastel, encaustic, fibre and
mixed media, my work aims to reimagine our relationship with the natural world and our
role in it. Informed by evolution, cosmology and ecology, my work is devoted to the
transformation of our sensibilities towards the Natural world on an emotional and
cognitive level, to convey a sense of awe and beauty, and to inspire collective action.

Aurora Imaging – Mark Richards
Mark Richards founded Aurora Imaging in 1999, on the cusp of a new millennium, but his journey in photography spans more than 50 years. With a rich background in commercial work across advertising, PR, tourism, architecture, aerial, marine and the arts, Mark brings both depth and versatility to his practice.
Since relocating to Findhorn in 2017, his focus has naturally evolved toward more community-centred storytelling. Today, he works closely with local organisations, artists, craftspeople, therapists and grassroots groups, creating imagery that is thoughtful, unobtrusive and deeply attuned to people and place. Mark’s approach is grounded in collaboration and care, making his work especially suited to those working in the arts, ecological initiatives and social or climate-focused movements. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss a potential project or photographic need.

Second Chance Creations Moray
Dawn Lyon has recently turned a crafting hobby into a small business. I use a product called Powertex Universal Medium, which I use for fabric sculpting alongside other products to make stone art decorative pieces and mixed media creations. Powertex is environmentally friendly, vegan, acid-free, non-toxic, and water-based. Once dry, it becomes weatherproof.
I use old clothes for the material I need to make my creations. Some are made from recyclable products such as glass/plastic jars and bottles etc as the bases – I try to reuse and repurpose things to reduce waste and help with efforts to improve sustainability.
I make a variety of handcrafted decorative items such as wall hangers, fairy houses, canvases, drinking glasses and fabric sculptures. I have also started running workshops where people can come and be guided step by step to make their own creations.
The Studio Jewellery Workshop
Susan Plowman is a vegan, ethical jeweller working in my workshop in Fortrose. I use recycled metal and ethically sourced or recycled gemstones.
I remodel broken and worn jewellery in to new pieces with sentimental value intact.
